Aguaje Oil gives increased hydration making the skin appear softer and smoother. Our unique beauty oil contains more than 21 times the β-Carotene of carrots giving the oil its bright orange colour and more than 25 times the Vitamin E of avocados. Aguaje oil is an ingredient in premium beauty products, soaps and sun care products. Our ultra-fine oil is produced in a sustainable manner using only the mesocarp of the fruit in a traditional method. This production process yields much higher levels of nutrients than standard pressing. Aguaje Oil is the best way to introduce naturally high levels of Vitamin A into your skin for a noticeable younger look and feel.

Our unique oil is extracted from the fruit of the large Moriche Palm flourishing in the wetlands of the Amazon. The fruit is carefully harvested at prime, and only the finest are hand-selected for oil production. A Peruvian women’s co-operative uses a traditional, chemical-free method to extract the oil from the mesocarp, attaining the highest purity and potency.

Aguaje Oil ranks in the most labour intensive oils from the Amazon to produce! After one year of providing organic natural nutrients, our preserved Moriche Palms have flourished and are ready for our annual harvest. To attain a sustainable harvest, workers climb the trees using special climbing equipment, carefully remove the Aguaje and carefully lower the fruit to the ground. The fruit is removed from the vine and carried to the river for transportation. The fruit is transported upriver to the main farm using peke peke boats. The production process is performed by indigenous women from this point forward as they meticulously sort, check, and clean each fruit individually. The aquaje fruit is carried to the processing area. The fruit attained is of the highest quality. Instead of pressing, a Peruvian women’s co-operative uses a traditional chemical-free method to extract the oil from the mesocarp attaining the highest purity and potency.
