Hello Rainforest was founded through years of lived experience in the Amazon — shaped by deep respect for the rainforest, its people, and the responsibility of stewardship.
Jess is the founder of Hello Rainforest, a company committed to bringing high-quality, eco-friendly products sourced directly from the rainforest.
His journey began 15 years ago when he planned to visit the Amazon with a friend, who never showed up at the airport. Though initially disappointed, Jess decided to embark on the adventure alone, which led him to an unexpected opportunity at a large wildlife reserve where he was offered a job.
He was initially tasked with simple jobs at the reserve and even providing logistics support for world class film crews. Jess soon found himself piloting a boat through several hundred kilometers of Amazon river tributaries, sometimes in a single day.
Year after year, he was fully immersed in the breathtaking beauty, biodiversity and abundant wildlife of the region. During this time, he witnessed the devastating effects of destructive logging practices and poaching.

This experience deepened his knowledge of remarkable natural plant medicines and nutrient-rich superfoods, further fueling his commitment to environmental conservation and protecting the extraordinary resources of our planet.
